Job Description:
BW Papersystems is seeking a motivated Panel Shop - Electrician to join our manufacturing or field installation team. This role involves assisting with the installation and wiring of electrical components on company-produced equipment. Work is closely supervised, follows standard procedures, and is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in industrial electrical assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
Assemble electrical systems and support structures using standard tools and equipment (e.g., rivets, bolts, soldering tools).
Wire and label switch boxes and control panel terminal boards from wiring diagrams.
Inspect and verify proper wiring terminations, coding, shorts, grounds, and continuity.
Report defective materials or unusual conditions to supervisor.
Participate in team meetings and contribute input on quality, cost, or production issues.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
