Job Description:

BW Papersystems is looking for an experienced Production Planner- Master Scheduler that will be responsible for developing the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory.  Being in this role, you will be making decisions and problem solving guided by policies, procedures, and a business plan; as well as receive guidance and oversight from senior manager or director. Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations, you may train, delegate, and review the work of less experienced employees. Within this role, we are looking for a professional who has the capacity in dealing with problems that are typically difficult and could be complex.

Additional Job Description:

Communicates cross-functionally by facilitating, leading, and participating with support departments to continually improve the cycle time required to identify, resolve, and prevent reoccurrence of manufacturing and customer issues.

Analyzes, measure, and develop processes to improve quality, service, and productivity outputs to meet value-added goals and key, and success factors.

Reviews sales forecasts and demands for finished or intermediary goods and develops production schedules, considering inventory, labor availability and production lead times.

Adjusts production schedules as needed and in response to changes in demand, materials, or other resources.

Coordinates with the purchasing function to ensure availability of raw materials.

Advises sales or customer service functions on availability of finished product.

Monitors materials and backlog between work centers; ensure availability and handle changing priorities.

Maintains production status updates; coordinate with project coordinators and materials personnel to ensure progress against production plans.

Reviews master production requirements and manpower and capacity restrains with manufacturing leaders.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree related to Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or will consider candidates with a degree in related field.

4+ years’ experience working with manufacturing, planning, and sales experience.

Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications and working knowledge of ERP systems such as InforXA or SAP.

This position will be located at the Phillips, WI location, and will be a full-time, non-remote position working normal business hours Monday-Friday.
