The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office wants to notify the public that the Oneida County Dispatch Center is not able to receive 911 or non-emergency calls from customers who use Verizon.
According to the sheriff's office, Verizon is working to resolve the issue, and if you need to call 911 or the non-emergency dispatch center line, which is 715-361-5201, you will need to use a landline phone or an alternate wireless network provider.
The sheriff's office will let the public know when the service is restored for Verizon customers.
